Natalie Grace Lambert is a playwright from southern California, and a current MFA student at UCLA. Her most recent credits include Theatre Masters’ Take Ten Festival and a reading of her play Merely Players at UCLA. in addition, her undergraduate capstone project, a one-act play called jan, janet, and janice, is the winner of a Judith Siegel Pearson award. with a flair for the uncanny and an adoration for the ugly, Natalie writes absurdist comedies with covertly hopeful narratives. each of her plays is an attempt to untangle something she doesn’t understand, such as her identity as a mexican-american, the existence of god, math, and how to be what human looks like. interning at theatres such as center theatre group and a noise within for education and community engagement teams has informed natalie’s passion for arts education and accessibility. she’s had the tremendous opportunity to teach introduction to playwriting through her program at ucla, fulfilling her longtime desire to teach. natalie hopes to pursue playwriting alongside education, while working to increase arts accessibility to low-income youth. free palestine!
